Teams of senior students dashed around the Darwin CBD during National Youth Week completing challenges and activities with organisations involved in the upcoming council elections.

During the ‘amazing race’ style event, the students set off from Civic Park and went to LGANT, Australian Electoral Commission, Parliament House, Darwin City Council, Local Court, Legal Aid , NAAJA, the Mitchell Street Police station and the Anti-Discrimination commission.

The event, held on Thursday 6 April, was organised by the NT Electoral Commission with the support of all participating organisations.

While no team made it to every location, the Taminmin Turkeys were declared the winners after making it to the most locations.
