The Bi-Annual Conference and Convention
LGANT’s largest and premier events for local government in the Northern Territory bring together key decisions makers including Mayors, Presidents, Elected Members, CEOs and senior managers.
The themed program includes training, an exhibition area and guest speakers designed to both inform and inspire our sector. The events also explore policy challenges and advocacy mechanisms through the LGANT General Meetings and Annual General Meetings.
The Conference and Convention are aligned to one of our Strategic Priorities.

Symposiums and other events
Aligned with the daily operational and management challenges of local government, the symposiums and other events are structured, bespoke programs which bring together subject matter experts, thought leaders, innovative thinkers, Mayors, Presidents, Elected Members, CEOs, Senior Managers and Council Staff.
The program includes training and learning, to exchange ideas, expand critical thinking, and learn about resources and innovations that are developing within the sector and beyond. We often include a dinner and dedicated networking time and the opportunity for Corporate Partners to present directly within the program.
